The Codrington family of Doddington House had strong links with both slavery and  politics and Tewkesbury. John Dixon of Tewkesbury Museum brings to life this chapter at the end of the slavery period.

Dunkirk Mill and the Stroud Trust

Stroud boasts a fine legacy of woollen mills with Dunkirk Mill as arguably the finest surviving example. Ian Mackintosh charts the history of this fine mill and th estory behind the Stroud Trust and preserving it.
