St George Celebrations

The 2015 Yate St George Celebrations are the biggest St George event in the area with a full day's English style entertainment and activities for the whole community. Mumming, morris dancing, brass band, Punch and Judy, archery, history activities and even St George himself will be in attendance.

Itinerary                                                                                                                                                     10.15 from Yate Heritage Centre (St Mary's Green)                                                                               

St Mary's Green - 10.45 Opening Ceremony, 11am Thornbury Town Band, 11.30 North Road School Contemporary Dance, 11.45 Folk Music (Jeff and Elaine Gillett), 12.15 Redds Theatre and Music, 12.40 Thornbury Town Band, 1.10pm North Road School Ocinara Dance, 1.20  Folk Music Performance, 1.40 Spaniel in the Works Folk Theatre, 2.05 Rag Morris, 2.20 St George Rugby awards, 2.35, Acro-Gymnastics, 2.55 Gloucester Folk Theatre, 3.15 St Mary's School Choir, 3.40 Rag Morris 4pm Pure Dance Crew

Yate Heritage Centre - 12am St George Storytelling, 1pm Professor Fillibuster (Punch and Judy), 2pm St George Storytelling 3pm Punch and Judy.
