Yate International Festival

Yate Heritage Centre hosts the best in International entertainment and culture in the Yate and South Gloucestershire areas. This unique events bring together different cultures and traditional for a wonderful community event. Acts already booked are Cameroonian dancers and  drummers, Irish Ceilidh and Indian Dhol drumming. There will also be the usual array of different "hands on" activities and the opportunity to discover different cultures. Funded by South Gloucestershire and Yate Town Councils.

Itinerary St Mary's Green: - 10.45am Official Opening 11am Mundi (Cameroonian) Dance and Drum, 11.30am Chinese Dance, 11.45 Youth Group tbc, Midday Alaina Herbert, Saxophonist, 12.20 Dilkush Dhol Drums, 12.35 Redds Dance and Theatre, 1pm Mundi Dance and Drums, 1.30pm Tribal Fantasy Dancing, 1.50pm Acro-Gymnastics, 2.15pm Polish Band, 2.40pm Irish Ceilidh, 3.05pm Dhol Drums, 3.15pm Vijay Bollywood Dance, 3.35pm Razzamatazz music and Dance 3.50pm Irish Ceilidh.

Yate Heritage Centre: - Midday Yoga Workshop, 1pm Hindu puppet Theatre, 2pm Sari Workshop 3pm Hindu Puppet Theatre.
