The Severn Bridge Rail Disaster was one of the most dramatic and traumatic events on the River Severn in the post-war period. Discover what happened in 1968, the images and Railway artefacts from past decades.

25th Anniversary of the Re-opening of Yate Railway Station

Combined with this display, we will have small display on the history of Yate railway station from 1844 onwards charting its history from the golden era in the 19th century to the post-war decline to the re-opening in 1989.
