Historic Walk - Heart of old Yate (Wed. 16 Sep, 2020 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm)

Join us all for a tour of the old heart of Yate. This will take in Station Road, Church Road and the historic buildings round about. You will disocver more than you realised aboutt his area. Start at Yate Heritage Centre. Refreshments at local pubs subject to restrictions. Ideal for adults and older children and suitable for anyone with physical disabilities. Booking is essentila for this walk. Part of Heritage Open Days.

Archaeology Lecture - Gloucestershire Sewer Records (Wed. 16 Sep, 2020 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm)

September's Archaeology lecture looks at the sewer and drainage records for the Gloucestershire area in the late 16th 17th centuries. Rose Hewlett looks at these key documents and what they tell us about life in Gloucestershire and near the River Severn. Zoom meeting.
