YADAG Lecture Series: "Post 1870 Military Wrecks"

Matt Skelhorn will deliver a talk on "The Management of Post 1870 Military Wrecks - Addressing the Environmental safety and Heritage Issues."

£2 admission. There will be a brief YADAG meeting before the talk.

Please be aware this lecture will take place in St Mary's Church, Yate opposite Yate & District Heritage Centre.

Yate & District Archaeology Group will be meeting for the first Christmas bash to celebrate the first 6 months of existence. There will be Christmas refreshments and good cheer.

There will also be the opportunity to undertake some map work during the first part of the evening before the socialising begins.

Archaeology Finds Day

The Archaeology Finds Day invites the public to bring in their historic finds and possessions to be identified by members of the Gloucestershire Portable Antiquities Scheme.

As well as discovering about your finds, people are welcome to discover more about their local archaeology and how to get involved in local historic recording.
