St George Celebrations

The Yate St George Celebrations make a welcome return to Yate Heritage CentreĀ  on St George's Day. There will be your favourite performers, including St George himself, Medieval Knight, Morris Dancers, folk singers, brass band, Punch and Judy plus craft activities and games, community groups and an opportunity to visit St Mary's Church. The itinerary will be revealed nearer the time.

Itinerary St Mary's Green

10.45am Opening Ceremony, 11am Thornbury Town Band, 11.30am Bristol Waites (Tudor Music), 12pm Rag Morris, 12.30pm Company of Chivalry, 1pm Thornbury Town Band, 1.30pm Bristol Waites, 2pm Rag Morris, 2.30pm Brigstowes (Folk), 3pm St George presentation, 3.30pm Brisgstows and 4pm Street Cred.

Yate Heritage Centre - 1pm and 3pm Professor Fillibuster (Punch & Judy).
