St George Celebrations

The Yate St George Celebrations are scheduled once again for April 2024 to mark the patron saint of England. Our popular history and community event will feature St George, Medieval and Tudor entertainment and demonstrators, brass band, folk singin and Morris Dancing and a host of activities.  Everybody welcome. Free entry. 

Itinerary: - 10.45 Opening of event, 11am Thornbury Town Band, 11.45 Press Gang Rejects (Shanty), 12.30pm Thornbury Town Band, 1pm Bristol Waites (Tudor), 1.30pm Raysfield Junior School, 2pm Bristol Waites, 2.30pm Brigstowes Folk, 3pm St George Play, 3.30pm Brigstowes, 4pm Street Cred.

1pm and 3pm Punch & Judy.
